About Me

Hi, I'm Natalie, the owner of Nat's Pawfection.

I've had a passion for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and now sharing my home with my two wonderful dogs—a Rottweiler/Shar Pei cross and a Jack Russell cross—they've always been a huge part of my life.

After gaining my City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants in 2018 and my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming in 2019, I began grooming professionally in 2020. I later qualified in Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning in 2021, allowing me to offer gentle, non-invasive teeth cleaning alongside my grooming services.

I'm also fully insured and Canine First Aid trained, giving you added peace of mind that your dog is in safe and capable hands.

A Calm, One-to-One Grooming Experience

Nat's Pawfection is based in my recently renovated home salon in Soham, welcoming dogs from Soham, Ely, Newmarket, Cambridge, Mildenhall and the surrounding villages.

Unlike busy commercial grooming salons, I intentionally only groom a small number of dogs each day. This means every dog enjoys a calm, relaxed one-to-one grooming experience, with plenty of time, patience and individual attention.

Your dog's welfare always comes first. Every dog is hand dried—never cage dried—and I use professional grooming equipment, including a hydraulic grooming table and specialist bathing facilities, to ensure every groom is carried out safely and comfortably.

The salon also features a room divider between the grooming and waiting areas, creating a quieter environment if owners arrive early or are delayed collecting their dog. Fresh drinking water is always available, and every effort is made to keep your dog relaxed throughout their visit.

I know that every dog is different. Some are confident, while others need a little extra reassurance. Whatever their personality, I take the time to build trust and ensure each visit is a positive experience.

Whether your dog is visiting for a full groom, a puppy introduction, a bath and tidy or Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning, they'll receive the same love, care and attention that I give my own dogs.
